Malaysia seizes AI chip servers worth US$12 million at Kuala Lumpur airport
The 30 server units were falsely declared as electronic components and lacked the permit needed for re-export. Customs suspects a syndicate has been using Malaysia as a transit hub, with at least five linked cases totalling more than 100 million ringgit in seized chips.
