Hackers suspected of stealing billions from Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange
Large transfers left three Binance wallets on 29 October, prompting the exchange to freeze around $3 billion and suspend all deposits and withdrawals. Tether and Circle froze a further $2.4 billion in connected assets. Bitcoin fell below $77,000 on the news.
