Kennedy's HHS opens a route to compound six unapproved peptides, overruling FDA staff
The policy lets licensed pharmacies and physicians compound BPC-157, TB-500 and four other peptides without FDA approval. Most of the agency's scientific staff opposed the move, and the FDA had warned against compounding several of the same substances in 2023.
