Africa Cup of Nations returns to two-year cycle
CAF's Executive Committee voted unanimously to drop a plan that would have moved the tournament to a four-year rhythm. A proposed African Nations League to fill the gap was abandoned after it became clear the competition would take several years to generate enough revenue to sustain African football.
