Electric current makes a spiral molecule spin and conduct 100 times better
Researchers have built the first molecular motor wired to two metal electrodes and driven by electricity alone. Reversing the voltage reverses the direction of rotation, and the spinning molecule's conductivity rises up to 100 times compared with when it is still.
