NHS trial to give 20,000 patients blood tests for hard-to-spot cancers
The University of Birmingham is leading the study, which will offer tests at around 200 GP surgeries in England. It follows a separate NHS trial of the Galleri test, which failed to cut late-stage cancer diagnoses.
