Police arrest 139 at London rally backing banned Palestine Action group
Around 400 people gathered outside the US embassy in Battersea to publicly support Palestine Action, which Britain outlawed under anti-terror laws in July 2025. Supporting the group carries a prison sentence of up to 14 years. The UK Supreme Court is due to hear an appeal against the ban on 4 November.
