Michael Crichton's widow can take The Pitt to trial over ER rights
A California appeals court has cleared Sherri Crichton's breach-of-contract claim against Warner Bros. Television to go before a jury. The estate says The Pitt is an unauthorised ER reboot that cut out Crichton's heirs on credit and pay.
