Bhutan glacial lake burst sends 4,000 fleeing in India
Nearly 7.4 million cubic metres of water surged from Sintaphu Lake into the Mo river and towards the Sankosh River. Flood warnings were issued across parts of West Bengal and Assam, and infrastructure at a popular hot springs resort in northern Bhutan was washed away.
