Microsoft drafts rules to keep humans in control of its AI models
The 15,000-word Humanist AI Code of Conduct would require MAI models to accept shutdown and correction, avoid self-assigned goals and stay open to audit. The draft is open for public consultation for six weeks, with a revised framework due to guide development from 2027.
