Houthi weapons cell used Anthropic's Claude to develop missiles, company says
The group ran simultaneous AI sessions to divide up coding, research and review across a guided rocket, a ballistic missile and a hypersonic glide vehicle programme. Anthropic said its safeguards blocked many requests but the actors found workarounds, and a live rocket test in Yemen appeared to fail before they returned to Claude to diagnose it.
