Jamaica asks King Charles to refer slavery reparations to its highest court
A delegation led by Culture Minister Olivia Grange will present the King with a petition seeking judicial clarity on whether enslavement was lawful and whether Britain has a legal duty to provide redress. Jamaica says it is the first Commonwealth country to pursue reparatory justice through this legal route.
