US crude stocks edge down while gasoline and distillate supplies build
Commercial crude inventories fell 0.6 million barrels to 423.4 million in the week ending 11 September, even as imports rose to 7.1 million barrels a day. Gasoline and distillate stocks both increased, pushing total petroleum inventories up 2.6 million barrels.
