Royal Caribbean pays $3 billion for half of Sandals Resorts in its biggest deal yet
The cruise operator is moving into land-based resort ownership for the first time. The deal, which values Sandals at $6 billion, gives Royal Caribbean joint control of 20 Caribbean properties alongside the founding Stewart family.
