Community banks sue US regulator to block crypto trust charters
The Independent Community Bankers of America is asking a federal court to revoke an OCC rule that lets crypto firms obtain national bank charters. The group says it gives digital asset companies the legitimacy of a federal charter without the capital, insurance and oversight requirements traditional banks must meet.
