Trump has deported 25,000 people to countries they have no connection to, investigation finds
A six-month inquiry led by Forbidden Stories found the US has struck secret deals with 35 countries to take deportees, paying out $410 million to governments and UN agencies. Many of those removed had legal protection against being sent back to their home countries and had lived in the US for decades.
