Yemen's government launches military campaign to retake Houthi-held territory
Presidential Leadership Council chairman Rashad Al-Alimi ordered forces into action after a 2022 truce collapsed in July and Houthis seized the west and Red Sea coasts in September. The government is offering amnesty to fighters who lay down their arms.
