CERN finds strong evidence of quantum entanglement in particles born from Higgs boson decays
The result, just shy of the threshold physicists require to claim a discovery, is the first entanglement measurement involving qutrits — particles with three possible spin states rather than two. Researchers reconstructed the finding from the electrons and muons released when the short-lived Z bosons decayed.
