US 10-year Treasury yield closes in on its highest level since 2007
The yield touched 4.99% on Friday after inflation came in hotter than expected, driven by gasoline topping $4.29 a gallon nationally and oil above $100 a barrel. Markets now put the odds of a Fed rate rise next week at 86%.
