Germany pledges €1.3 billion to Ukraine as Russia launches 900 drones in a week
Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in Kyiv by train with the package, about €1 billion of it military aid. A new German-Ukrainian interceptor drone, the SPYS, has passed testing, and officials say thousands will reach Ukrainian forces in the coming months.
