OECD raises 2026 global growth forecast to 2.9%, with AI the main upside
The revision is modest — just 0.1 points above June's estimate — and depends on a lasting end to the Middle East conflict. The OECD also trimmed its 2027 forecast, and warned that AI gains may not materialise as expected.
