US aid cuts drive biggest fall in global HIV funding in almost twenty years
International HIV funding for low- and middle-income countries dropped 18%, or $1.6 billion, in 2025. Community organisations, which get almost all their money from abroad, saw PrEP delivery halve and services for the most at-risk groups collapse.
