Putin seizes Nestlé and three French companies' Russian operations
A Kremlin decree has transferred control of Nestlé, Auchan, Lemana Pro and FM Logistic to a state-linked company with no prior business activity. Russia has used the same legal framework to take over local units of Carlsberg, Danone and Fortum.
