EU sanctions nearly 1,600 individuals and firms linked to Russia's war machine
Foreign ministers meeting in Luxembourg imposed asset freezes and EU entry bans on missile producers, drone manufacturers and submarine shipyards. The bloc also extended separate sanctions on 80 individuals tied to Russian disinformation and hybrid activity until October 2027.
