Trump moves $52 million in military funding from Europe and Middle East to Latin America
The money is being redirected from Slovakia, North Macedonia, Tunisia and Iraq to Panama, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. The State Department says it will help secure the Panama Canal and counter Chinese influence in the region.
