Anthrax outbreak in Zambia kills dozens of hippos and elephants and infects 12 people
The cases are centred on the Munyamadzi River area of Muchinga province, where residents consumed meat from animals that died in the outbreak. Authorities have suspended hunting and warned people not to touch or eat wildlife carcasses.
