Infantino faces FIFA revolt as confederations call on him to stand down
A plan to sell a 20 percent stake in FIFA's commercial rights collapsed in July, and UEFA, Concacaf and the Asian Football Confederation are still demanding he go. The FIFA presidential vote is set for 18 March 2027 in Morocco, with 87 of 211 member federations so far indicating support for Infantino.
