Former MMA fighter sets Guinness record with 499 weighted chin-ups in an hour
Damien Rooney, from Burren outside Newry, beat the previous record of 495 while wearing a 20lb weight. He is now setting his sights on the 24-hour chin-up record, which could demand as many as 10,000 repetitions.
