EU leaders back 'kill switch' to block Chinese imports as trade gap hits €360 billion
The EU's goods deficit with China rose 18% in a year and now runs at more than €1 billion a day. Beijing has until mid-October to propose ways to close the gap, or face unilateral limits on electric vehicles and other industrial goods.
